He hires one of the local indian guides to help him track the buffalo and let him know when one is coming. They are walking along when the guide halts the hunter, puts his ear to the ground and announces “buffalo come.” The guy readies his rifle, looks everywhere but sees nothing. He turns to the guide and says “how do you know buffalo come?” The guide replies “ear sticky.”
